Who Am I
Hello, I am Habib Onifade, a former investment banker in United Kingdom turned aid worker. I have over 15 years of experience in economic development and have been lucky enough to apply some of the tools, techniques and approaches I learnt in investment banking to economic development.
Quick Facts About Me
- I am a graduate of Economics and I hold a Master’s degree in Corporate and International Finance from Durham University, United Kingdom.
- I work in investment banking and consulting in United Kingdom for over 12 years.
- I created an online TV channel, @DevTV.org, in 2018 as a platform for economic development practitioners to share, experiences, best practices and inspire talented people in the private sector to join or consider economic development as a career.
- I am now creating content that shows how entrepreneurs and businesspeople can work with aid programmes, profitably.
- Fun-fact – at university, I sold my expensive bass guitar after 5 weeks on classes cause I was broke. I am now looking for another bass guitar trainer.
